Job Description
An organization is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Analyst and Tester (Journeyman) to support advanced modeling and simulation environments, focusing on component-level software testing, validating system performance, and ensuring software quality prior to full system integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field OR High School diploma with relevant experience
- 3+ years of experience in software testing
- Experience with component-level testing of software modules
- Experience developing test plans and test cases
- Proficiency with command-line tools, scripting, and testing techniques
- Experience working in Linux environments
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps)
- Experience using defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
