Job Description
Join Knightdale Animal Hospital as a Veterinary Assistant or Technician to work with animals, gain valuable experience, and contribute to the overall health and well-being of animals in your community.
Requirements
- Client communication
- Triaging patients including basic injury/illness assessment, gathering patient information, and taking vital signs.
- Performing diagnostic testing including radiographs and lab work
- Assisting with surgical procedures and patient monitoring
- Assisting in taking radiographs
- Giving IV & IM injections
- Dispensing controlled drugs
- Placing IV catheters and maintaining feeding tubes and urinary catheters
- Monitor Surgical procedures.
- Lab Diagnostics
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
