Contrôleur(euse) de projets

VIA Rail is seeking a Project Controller to join its team in the Modernization of Maintenance Centers program. The successful candidate will manage the financial aspects of projects, provide guidance and support to project managers, and ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, administration, or management
• 3-5 years of experience in project control
• Certification in Project Management (CAPM or PMP) an asset
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Online, and Power BI
• Knowledge of document management best practices and SharePoint
• Knowledge of cost tracking and project planning
• Knowledge of PMBOK and other project management methodologies, an asset
• Familiarity with Oracle's project cost modules, an asset
• Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Bilingualism (French and English)
