Diesel Mechanic

Sioux Area Metro is looking for a Diesel Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on buses, automotive equipment, and shop equipment. The successful candidate will have knowledge of diesel engines, excellent manual dexterity, and the ability to work on their feet eight hours per day.

Requirements

• Direct highly varied and complex operations related to vehicle and equipment service
• Repair and/or replace any subsystem associated with heavy, medium, and/or light duty SAM coaches and automotive equipment
• Work with other maintenance workers, drivers, and transportation supervisors
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
