Job Description
VIAVI Solutions is seeking a Design Support/System Engineer to join our global DevOps and Common Tools Team within R&D. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of DevOps/Systems Engineering experience and expert-level Linux system administration skills. The role will involve architecting and managing cutting-edge DevSecOps toolchains, automating infrastructure workflows, and driving platform innovations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of DevOps/Systems Engineering experience
- Expert-level Linux system administration
- Strong scripting and automation skills
- Experience with Atlassian suite administration
- Solid understanding of CI/CD principles
- Experience with artifact management tools
- Experience with virtual environments
- Linux networking expertise
- Strong troubleshooting abilities
