Production Test Technician

VIAVI is a global provider of network test, monitoring and assurance solutions. We are seeking a Production Test Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair electronic test equipment from the individual component level.

Requirements

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, modify, replace and repair electrical components, parts, equipment, and systems
• Maintain and make necessary operating adjustments to test units
• Determine material or replacement needs and a logical method for repair
• Follow all established ESD (Electrostatic Discharge/Damage) requirements
• Maintain records related to electronic and electrical equipment
• Complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing
• Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems
