Support Automation Engineering in the development, build, installation of manufacturing equipment and tooling with an emphasis on mechatronics.
Requirements
- Associates degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or Technology related field combined with +2 years hands on experience.
- Technical high School graduate with emphasis on Robotics and Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical Technologies or related field, +3 years of experience in a high volume manufacturing environment with exposure to automated equipment.
- Experience working with mechanical assembly equipment and automated equipment.
- Experience working with electrical measurement, testing tools like multi-meter. Will train on higher level electronics.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to use CAD drawing programs (i.e. SolidWorks) at viewing and modification level is required. Experience for detailed and efficient, parts and assembly drawing in SolidWorks is a plus.
- Experience in PLC & HMI installation, configuration is a plus.
- Experience in barcode readers, smart cameras is a plus (i.e. Cognex, Keyence, Sick etc.)
