Buyer/Planner - Brampton, ON (On-site)

Victaulic is seeking a Buyer/Planner to manage assigned commodities and finished products using strategic processes. The successful candidate will have experience in purchasing, material control, or related fields, and a post-secondary degree or diploma in purchasing or a related field.

Requirements

• Develop and manage suppliers for assigned portfolio
• Analyze requisitions, specifications, and system reports
• Manage existing outside processes/suppliers and issue Purchase Orders
• Track material deliveries and liaise with internal and external resources
• Resolve issues related to quality, delivery dates, quantity, and invoicing of purchased commodities
• Implement strategies to reduce costs, improve quality and delivery performance
• Support the sourcing team and QA in reviewing and qualifying existing and new suppliers
• Participate in or lead special projects in the sourcing area
