Job Description
Estimator - Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) responsible for developing cost estimates for Fabrication & Drawing projects, communicating estimates to Sales staff, and managing scope coverage and risk.
Requirements
- GED diploma, Two-year Associates Degree, and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering related to Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Protection or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
- Proven written and verbal communication abilities
- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, & Navisworks software
- Knowledge of interpretating piping specification and mechanical piping drawings
- Knowledge of estimating software: Onscreen Take-off, AutoBid Est-MECH, QuoteSoft, etc.
