Job Description
The Certified Wellness Coach II provides non-clinical services to support youth behavioral health and well-being, including wellness promotion and education, screening, care coordination, individual and group support, and crisis referral.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Addiction Studies, Child Development/Early Intervention, Psychology, or Sociology from any accredited California Community College
- 1 year of related work or field experience in mental health, substance use/addition, social work, child welfare, or related fields in educational settings, non-profit organizations, community organizations, clinics, or health centers
- Current California Certified Wellness Coach Certification
- Valid California driver's license, personal automobile insurance, and driving record that meets the standards outlined in the Agency's Policy: Motor Vehicle Operating Standards
- Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to speak and write effectively in the English language
- Physical fitness to work in a school, office, or outdoor community environment
