Residential Counselor I

We are seeking a Residential Counselor I to provide care and supervision to severely emotionally disturbed children. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and experience working with youth, or relevant life experience in the child welfare or mental health system.

Requirements

• Ensure the safety of youth through direct supervision
• Implement trauma-informed interventions with all youth and manage crisis
• Plan and supervise daily activities of youth and implement the STRTP program
• Ensure physical and medical needs of youth are met
• Pass, document, and monitor the use of medications by youth
• Participate as an active member of the treatment team and Agency
