Job Description
Reporting to the Deployment Engineering Transport Manager, the Transport Network Engineer/Analyst will be responsible for developing and maintaining the transport optical network technologies supporting all services provided by Vidéotron, Freedom Mobile, and all Quebecor subsidiaries. The role involves analyzing and implementing strategies, testing new products, providing level 3 support, and training technicians.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the telecommunications field
- Extensive knowledge of services and technologies in the transport optical network domain (DWDM, OTN, DCi, and SONET)
- Bilingual (French/English)
