Material Handler

The Village Companies is seeking a Material Handler to assist with the movement of inventory and execute best practices for our inventory management system. The role involves supporting activities related to procurement, storage, shipment of raw materials, and receiving of incoming materials. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, leadership abilities, and organizational skills. The work environment is fast-paced, and the individual must be able to adjust work tempo to match customer demand.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or a combination of both
• Organized, Dependable & Reliable
• Working knowledge of personal computers and common software
• Understanding of ERP system (Syteline) is a plus
• Good keyboarding skills
• Ability to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives with limited supervision
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, leadership abilities, and organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines as assigned
• Ability to drive a forklift
• Ability to drive non-CDL trucks
