Job Description
The Infusion Pharmacy Technician will compound medications, handle hazardous drugs, and perform various tasks to ensure quality and compliance in the Summit Health Infusion Center.
Requirements
- Review prescriptions for accuracy and suitability
- Compound medications using proper aseptic technique
- Handle and dispose of hazardous drugs and waste materials
- Perform mathematical calculations for compounding
- Maintain inventory and order supplies
- Assist with training and orientation of new employees
