Job Description
The Medical Assistant (MA) is responsible for assisting physician, PA or NP with clerical duties, patient flow, patient care and procedures. The MA prepares the examination room, maintains efficient patient flow, and communicates effectively with patients. They also schedule appointments, accurately stock examination rooms, and reconcile encounters daily.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduated from an accredited medical assistant or phlebotomy program
- 0-1 year related work experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
