Job Description
The Medical Assistant (MA) is responsible for assisting physician, PA or NP with clerical duties, patient flow, patient care and procedures. The MA prepares examination rooms, ensures proper preparation for patient visits, and communicates with patients in a compassionate manner.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduated from an accredited medical assistant or phlebotomy program
- 0-1 year related work experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing
- Basic proficiency in computer use
