Job Description
The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting physicians, PAs, or NPs with clerical duties, patient flow, patient care, and procedures. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, graduation from an accredited medical assistant or phlebotomy program, and 0-1 year of related work experience.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduated from an accredited medical assistant or phlebotomy program
- 0-1 year related work experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or within 30 days of hire
- Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing
- Ability to organize and perform multiple tasks in a timely manner
- Basic proficiency in computer use
- Ability to commute to satellite offices as needed
