Job Description
Registered Sleep Technician responsible for preparing and calibrating equipment, applying electrodes and sensors, and performing diagnostic tests to determine origin of sleep-related disorders. Must have RPSGT certification and Oregon Licensed Polysomnographic Technologist (S – Polysomnography) or Oregon Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (LRCP) or Oregon Licensed Polysomnographic Technologist (IS – Polysomnography) certification. High school diploma or equivalent required.
Requirements
- Testing Preparation Procedures
- Gather and Analyze Patient Information
- Administers Polysomnographic Study (Diagnostic and Titration), MSLT and MWT
- Follow procedural protocols to ensure collection of appropriate data
- Polysomnographic Record Scoring
- Provide supervision of a Polysomnographic Trainee and/or Polysomnographic Technician / Sleep Technologists / RPSGT
