RN, Charge - Urology Surgery job description: We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to serve as Charge Nurse in our Urology Surgery department. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating daily operations to ensure quality patient care, as well as providing leadership and support to staff members. This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements

• Active BLS, ACLS and PALS Certification
• Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience in Emergency Department setting
• Associate degree Required. Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
• Valid Driver’s license and Auto Insurance required
• Knowledge of current nursing practices and protocols
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to lead and manage a team
• Ability to make decisions, delegate, and assure the welfare of the patient and the staff
• Ability to perform diverse work assignments with time limitations and with a high degree of accuracy
• Ability to use problem solving, critical thinking and priority setting skills
• Experience with Standard Office Equipment (Phone, Fax, Copy Machine, Scanner, Email/Voice Mail) preferred
• Experience with Standard Office Technology in a Window based environment preferred
• Experience with patient care equipment preferred
• Experience with EHR, Practice Management System and Departmental/Ancillary Systems preferred
