Job Description
We're seeking an Ultrasound Tech to join our team. As an Ultrasound Tech, you'll be responsible for performing ultrasound procedures, preparing patients for scans, and operating equipment to acquire imaging results. You'll also provide patient care with dignity and respect, educate patients about procedures, and maintain quality control checks on equipment.
Requirements
- Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program
- Active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or (CCI) in the specialties of Abdomen, OBGYN, Breast, MSK, Fetal Echo, Adult Echo, Vascular, and Pediatric
- Current compliance with Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements for specialty(ies)
- Excellent patient and people skills
- Ability to maintain a great knowledge in human cross section anatomy, proper positioning skills, and appropriate utilization of protocols and scanning techniques
