Job Description
Staff Geophysicist will lead projects, undertake seismic interpretations, and work independently to generate value. Responsibilities include generating new satellite field and infill well location ideas, optimizing well targets and trajectories, and providing geophysical input into pre-drill well proposals and post-drill well reports.
Requirements
- Relevant degree in geoscience or physics
- Post-graduate qualification at MSc or PhD level in a relevant geophysical subject
- Minimum 12 years geophysical interpretation work experience
- Advanced level of workstation skills in 3D seismic interpretation
- Experience of working with multidisciplinary teams on field development projects
- Expert knowledge of seismic stratigraphy and geomorphology
- Excellent understanding of seismic data acquisition and processing methods in offshore settings
- Fluency in written and spoken English
