Job Description
Lead Technician responsible for workshop organization, quality, and efficiency, leading a team of technicians to achieve various KPIs, and resolving technical cases and escalations.
Requirements
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive service and mechanical repairs
- Oversee and lead Technicians to achieve various KPIs such as Fixed Right First Time
- Handle and help resolve escalations of complicated technical cases
- Monitor and report on workshop performance
- Supervise health and safety compliance
- Oversee inventory management
- Ensure work standards and available engineering procedures are up-to-date
- Hold daily meetings with the team
- Plan, prepare and distribute work to technicians
- Motivate, lead and inspire the team in continuous improvements and efficiencies
- Identify any training needs within the team and arrange relevant training courses
- Liaise daily with internal teams within the Service Centre
