Job Description
The Lead Technician will be responsible for workshop organization, quality, and efficiency, overseeing a team of technicians and handling technical cases, with a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Automotive Technician.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Automotive Technician
- Valid 310S License (or equivalent), Driver’s License and clean driver’s abstract/record
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic vehicle components, prior Electric Vehicle experience an asset
- Skilled in vehicle diagnostic systems and methods, a problem-solver that is capable of fixing problems when they arise, but who is also keen on understanding why they happened
- Proven ability to lead by example and be innovative with processes and efficiencies
- Analytical ability to understand and impact key performance indicators
- Ability to motivate a team, to engage and facilitate others to achieve and succeed
- Digitally savvy – ability to adopt and adapt quickly to new technology and systems
- A calm, considered approach with exceptional oral and written communication skills
