Established by Black and Latina activists in 1984, the Violence Intervention Program (VIP) is NYC’s only culturally specific organization with a mission to address domestic and sexual violence within Latinx communities.
As a Healthcare Specialist, you will serve as a critical bridge between the healthcare system and low-income, immigrant Latina survivors. You will provide intensive healthcare case management services, advocate with healthcare providers, and develop partnerships with hospitals and community clinics. You will also facilitate bilingual workshops and train frontline staff to navigate the healthcare system.
