Adjunct Faculty-VWU Global Campus

Virginia Wesleyan University (VWU) is seeking on-site adjunct faculty to teach in our Prison Education Program (PEP) in the Chesapeake region. The areas of expertise include business, English, science, humanities, and language.

Requirements

• Prepare syllabi that meet the VWU syllabus guidelines and provide these to students on the first day of class.
• Use Blackboard, the University Learning Management System, and other related technologies as appropriate for the PEP program.
• Be on time and prepared for class sessions and grade, provide feedback, and return assignments within a reasonable time period.
• Communicate with students during class and facility time.
• Submit mid-term reports, final grades, and C- reports per guidelines provided by the University Registrar.
• Comply with FERPA regulations.
• Coordinate with Campus support services as needed to support students.
