Trading Operations Analyst

Virtu Financial is looking for a Trading Operations Analyst to manage the clearance, settlement, and reconciliation of all trades and positions for the firm. The role involves working closely with traders, finance, compliance, brokers, custodians, and customers to ensure timely settlement of trades, accuracy of books and records, and avoidance of unanticipated risk.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of professional working experience
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Business, Finance, Economics, and Engineering academic backgrounds preferred)
• Strong experience with SQL and Python
• Outstanding quantitative problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate information precisely and with agility to parties both internal and external
• Team player with a good attitude and flexibility in their time commitment to the job
• Highly motivated and tenacious individual, with a proven ability to take initiative and work independently and within a team environment
