The Solution Architect will analyze and define advanced technologies relevant to the applications and services within the enterprise architecture, provide guidance to project teams, and identify and manage exceptions to governance standards.
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of ten (10) years of designing and implementing enterprise-scale IT solutions
- Strong knowledge of advances in tools and techniques in platforms, hardware and software
- Extensive knowledge of technology architecture and infrastructure
- MCITP or MSCE certification preferred
- SOA, web services, enterprise data management, infrastructure and IT system security and application development
- Full lifecycle experience with many application (functional) and infrastructure products, technologies, and services
- Experience working with the Federal Government
- Solid OOD/OOP foundation with experience in UML diagramming and design documentation
- Extensive experience building and exposing Web Services and SOA based components
- Complex programming, program debugging, data analysis, problem analysis and resolution issues within OO application systems
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing at a professional level
- Ability to distill complex technical and management data to a layperson's understanding
- Ability to organize complex concepts in written or presentation formats
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, innovative and creative
- Microsoft office suite skills
