Virtual School Social Worker

Virtual School Social Worker at Virtual Preparatory Academy of Indiana @ Madison-Grant. Works with school grade level teams and wrap around supports to support positive student behaviors. Develops Behavior Support Plans and provides training to staff.

Requirements

• Limited License Master's Social Worker with full or temporary School Social Work approval by State of Indiana
• Prior experience in the development of functional assessments and behavior intervention plans
• Strong knowledge of community resources
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, parents, and the general public
• Employment experience supporting students in a virtual setting preferred
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel
• Ability to communicate under stressful conditions
• Effective organizational skills with the ability to perform multi-tasks
• Satisfactory completion of state required criminal history check
