Cleared Network Engineer*

We are searching for a Network Engineer to join our dynamic team in Lorton, Virginia. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for providing senior level support for our network infrastructure, with a focus on LAN/WAN designs, configurations, management, and Azure networking.

Requirements

• Design, configure, and manage LAN/WAN infrastructure, including Azure networking components, to ensure optimal network performance and reliability.
• Resolve complex network issues escalated from lower tiers with a focus on timely resolution and minimal impact to operations.
• Monitor network performance, proactively identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures to maintain network health and availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement network security policies, procedures, and best practices, specifically in an Azure networking environment.
• Conduct regular network performance analysis and capacity planning to anticipate future requirements and make recommendations for network enhancements, with a particular emphasis on Azure networking.
• Provide training to junior network engineers and support staff on network technologies, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques, including Azure networking concepts.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to network designs, configurations, processes, and procedures, focusing on Azure and networking components.
