The internship involves researching compression algorithms, designing a method to optimize bit depth, prototyping in Matlab/Octave or C#, verifying results, and documenting the work. Requirements

• Enrolled in a Master’s program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics with a focus on Medical or Technical Informatics, Medical Technology, Signal Processing, Image Processing
• Image processing knowledge
• Knowledge of LabView
• Knowledge of C++ / C# / Matlab / Octave
• Motivation / willingness to perform
• Independent, self-sufficient and solution-oriented work
• Holistic thinking and attention to detail
• Good German and English skills
