Vision Rehabilitation Assistant

Make a difference in the lives of Canadians living with vision loss by working as a Vision Rehabilitation Assistant with Vision Loss Rehabilitation Canada (VLRC). As a certified specialist, you will provide client-centered rehabilitation, mobility training, and daily living skills programs to empower clients to live safely and independently.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education and/or prior experience in a Rehabilitation Assistant program, Occupational or Physical Therapy Assistant program, Social Work or related field
• Previous working/volunteering experience working with individuals who are blind or partially sighted or a combined loss of hearing and sight
• Clean Criminal Record required; Criminal Reference Check required for vulnerable populations
