Job Description
We are seeking a Structured Cabling Technician who will be a critical member of a U.S.-based global systems integrator providing technology solutions and services for commercial and government clients.
Requirements
- Install, terminate, and test low voltage cabling systems
- Work independently and as a team player
- Provide outstanding customer service and deliver project installations according to customer expectations
- Perform installations that adhere to industry safety requirements and Vision standards
- Supervise technicians and provide OJT when required
- Stay current with the latest technologies and installation procedures
- Understand and accurately complete all paperwork required of assigned project
- Run small to medium projects when required
- Install and terminate various copper and fiber products in accordance with TIA/EIA standards and BICSI standards
- Test and troubleshoot copper and fiber cable plant systems in accordance with TIA/EIA standards and BICSI standards
