Shop Steward

The Shop Steward is responsible for maintaining the shop cleanliness, maintenance and inspections. Assists Service Technicians with all Service personnel and management to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Maintain shop cleanliness
• Complete all work according to applicable safety requirements
• Assist technicians as needed to road-test vehicles
• Organize and maintain shop special tools and equipment
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly routine maintenance on shop equipment
• Perform monthly inspections of safety equipment and vehicle hoists
• Constructively communicate with other dealership personnel
• Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its personnel, or customers
• Maintain personal grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards
• Arrive at work, take breaks, and depart work at designated times
• Attend meetings and trainings as scheduled
