Job Description
Visionist has an exciting new opportunity for a Software Engineer (Distributed Systems & Cloud) on our largest PRIME contract. Our team is motivated by the direct impact on the mission, crafting specialized tools for enhanced efficiency and quick iterations for our operations user base.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or 4 years of experience
- 8 years of experience in software development
- Experience developing applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python
- Experience building and maintaining distributed systems and enterprise-grade web applications
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), DevOps practices, and Infrastructure-as-Code
- Knowledge of modern software engineering practices, including version control, automated testing, and agile development methodologies
- Experience with high-side development environments and non-attributed network configurations
