Job Description
Urgent Need Hadoop Technical lead For fulltime Irving TX. The role requires a Technical lead with 8+ years of experience in Big Data HDFS, MapReduce, Pig, Hive, Sqoop, Oozie, Zookeeper, Flume and HBase, Spark, Kafka, Storm, Impala, Teradata, Cognos, and other technologies. The associate will work on multiple POCs, configure and test various use cases, and provide findings on Catalog Management, Streaming, Data Visualizations, ETL for multiple business teams in Citigroup.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Big Data HDFS, MapReduce, Pig, Hive, Sqoop, Oozie, Zookeeper, Flume and HBase, Spark, Kafka, Storm, Impala, Teradata, Cognos, and other technologies
- Broad understanding of CDH, Big data ECO system tech stack and Apache Spark Framework
- Thorough working knowledge of Hive, Impala, HBase, Spark SQL, NoSQL and ELT and experience in handling different data formats
- Knowledgeable of open source and commercial analytic packages to architect solutions in big data platform
- Understanding of advanced analytics (such as predictive, prescriptive..) and tool sets
- Comfortable working/leading virtual teams, Agile PM
- Strong communication and client management skill
