Job Description
A dynamic financial services firm is seeking an in-house Controller to manage the firm's day-to-day accounting operations. The role requires a hands-on professional with experience in financial services or professional services, strong accounting skills, and the ability to interact with senior staff and outside clients.
Requirements
- 5–+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in financial services or professional services
- Strong hands-on experience with full-cycle accounting
- Solid understanding of AP, AR, billing, and general ledger
- Experience assisting with tax preparation (firm or partnership returns a plus)
- Proficient with accounting systems and Excel
- Organized, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Able to work independently in a small, fast-paced environment
- CPA preferred; equivalent experience considered
