Job Description
As a Senior Data Modeler at Visium, you will design and deliver robust data models that enable clients to unlock the value of their data. You will contribute to critical data initiatives and work closely with client teams to ensure data model consistency and alignment with enterprise architecture and strategic priorities.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in data modeling
- Experience in data modelling techniques (Dimensional, Data Vault)
- Understanding of conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling
- Solid grasp of data governance principles, metadata management, and maintaining business term alignment across models
- Experience working in agile environments with a DevOps toolchain
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Fluency in SQL
- Ability to mentor peers and guide modeling decisions
- Data Vault 2.0 certification
- Experience with dbt and Databricks
- CI/CD practices and pull request workflows for data models
