Repair Technician (Electronic Music Equipment)

Vista Musical Instruments is seeking a skilled Repair Technician to diagnose and repair electronic music equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience with various musical instruments and gear, strong technical expertise, and a passion for music technology.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an electronic repair technician, preferably with musical equipment
• Strong understanding of analog and digital circuits, troubleshooting techniques, and soldering skills
• Familiarity with various brands and models of electronic music equipment
• Ability to read schematics, circuit diagrams, and technical manuals
• Experience using diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple repair tasks efficiently
• Certification or diploma in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field (preferred)
• Experience working in a music store, service center, or similar environment (preferred)
• Passion for music and familiarity with musicians' needs and preferences (preferred)
