Accountant I

The Accountant I contributes to the accuracy and efficiency of the accounting program by performing essential accounting tasks and supporting daily accounting operations. The role involves completing assigned tasks with attention to accuracy, gathering and verifying data, and assisting with process enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 0-3 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience preferred in the Energy industry, but not required
• Experience with accounting and/or reporting systems
• Strong financial analysis, problem solving & communication skills
• Process improvement oriented
• Fundamental understanding of the accounting close process
