Plant Intern - Summer

Support and maintain efficient and cost-effective facility operations under the supervision of plant management, rotating through different areas of the plant to gain a working knowledge of power plant systems.

Requirements

• High School diploma, trade school, military service or technical school training
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of CCGT power plants or equivalent education
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, weekday shift vacancies, support plant start-ups, be on call and accept call-outs and overtime work on short notice
• Intermediate user PC skills
• General knowledge of safety and environmental regulation
