The Director of Communications & Marketing will lead the development and execution of an integrated communications and marketing strategy to expand Vital Voices' global brand, audience, and impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, plus 8-12 years of relevant work experience required
- Strong demonstrated experience in global women's issues, refugee issues, and human rights strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience writing nuanced press releases, op-eds, newsletters/blogs, speeches, and organizational statements
- Demonstrated experience leading digital marketing campaigns with an understanding of analytics and performance
- Previous experience managing CRM systems and campaign tools and platforms
- Excellent oral and written communications skills in English
- Experience managing communications channels surrounding global issues with diverse audiences
- Ability to prioritize tasks, swiftly shift priorities, and work in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team
- Strong computer skills including MS Office applications (esp. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), social networking tools, and database software (i.e., Salesforce).
