Admissions RN

VITAS is looking for an Admissions RN to conduct clinical assessments, educate patients and families, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide end-of-life care. The ideal candidate will have a valid state license, at least 2 years of nursing experience, and strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (hospice, palliative, ER, ICU, home health or case management preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Compassionate communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
• Active listener who builds trust and rapport
• Confident in guiding others through uncertainty, addressing concerns with empathy
• Reliable professional with strong follow-through and autonomy
