Admissions RN

VITAS is seeking a compassionate Admissions RN to bridge the gap between hospital and hospice, providing expert clinical support to patients and families during their transition into life-sustaining care. This role emphasizes empathy, guidance, and documentation in a fast-paced environment, focused on improving patient outcomes and offering the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in end-of-life care.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (hospice, palliative, ER, ICU, home health or case management preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Compassionate communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
• Active listener who builds trust and rapport
• Confident in guiding others through uncertainty
• Patient-centered advocate committed to dignity and comfort
