Process new referrals, follow up on pending patient charts, enter accurate information, and verify Medicare and Medicaid hospice benefits. Coordinate with admissions representatives, marketing representatives, and managed care department. Explain hospice benefits to patients and families.
Requirements
- Two or more years of experience in medical terminology and/or in a call center environment
- High school degree or basic education equivalency required
- Medical or business office education or training desired
- Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus
