Home Health Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

VITAS Home Health Aide (HHA) provides personal care and services to hospice patients. The HHA assigns tasks like hygiene, meal preparation, ambulation assistance, and medication monitoring. Employees work under the supervision of the nurse and learn through training and evaluation.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred
• Performs only those personal care activities contained in a written assignment
• Documented evidence of 75 hours of training
• State Allowable Training/Certification
• Ability to read, write, and carry out directions
