Home Health Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

VITAS Home Health Aide (HHA) provides personal care and services to hospice patients, augmenting care given by family members or other caregivers. Responsibilities include performing hygiene, meal preparation, ambulation assistance, and monitoring patient conditions. This is a full-time position requiring a focus on professional, collaborative, and growth-oriented work.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred
• Ability to read, write, and carry out directions
• Demonstrated evidence of 75 hours of training
• Successful completion of a competency evaluation program
