Social Worker

The Social Worker member of the interdisciplinary team at VITAS Healthcare is responsible for providing psychosocial assessment, intervention, and support to patients and families. This role includes counseling, case management, and referral to community resources. The Social Worker also participates in training, supervision, and as a coordinator of volunteer interventions.

• Masters of Social Work or equivalent degree.
• Minimum State Requirements for License/Certification
