Senior Software Engineer (Java / C++ / Linux / Android)

Vix Technology is a global leader in providing innovative solutions for public transit, and we're seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and support the CAST Front Office application.

Requirements

• Design, develop, test, and maintain secure, scalable, and reusable software solutions for embedded Linux and Android environments.
• Provide technical leadership in architectural design decisions and collaborate with the Team Lead and Principal Engineer on technical direction and delivery planning.
• Mentor and support junior engineers through coaching, knowledge sharing, and technical guidance.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents in a timely manner to ensure system stability and customer satisfaction.
• Integrate software with first and third-party hardware in real-time, device-based environments.
