Job Description
Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a Senior GL Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, month-end closing, project accounting, compliance, and analysis in a GovCon environment using Deltek Costpoint. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced in Costpoint and GovCon accounting practices.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of accounting experience in a GovCon environment using Deltek Costpoint, along with a solid understanding of GAAP, FAR, and CAS.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Strong understanding of project accounting, indirect rate structures, and revenue recognition in a government contracting setting
- High attention to detail, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
