Entry Level- Airport Security Screener *Part Time*

Join VMD Corp as an Airport Security Screener at the Greater Rochester International Airport (ROC) and work with a team of aviation security professionals to ensure passenger safety and prevent dangerous objects from being transported aboard the aircraft.

Requirements

• Passenger and Baggage screening using various electronic imaging and screening equipment
• Perform critical safety tasks such as conducting pat-down searches, operating x-ray machines and hand-held wands
• Courteously communicate and interact with travelers, providing directions and responding to inquiries calmly
• Lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds or assisting others in lifting
• Ability to stand and remain standing for periods of up to three hours
• Possess proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and listening)
• Ability to successfully complete required classroom and on-the-job training and certification exams
